I get the similarity, I just think the presentation sucks. Trust me: I remember when the first 3d accelerators hit the market, I know the difference between GPU and CPU rendering. The reason I say it seems like propaganda is because first of all, you are the first person to use the term rendering. The video title or captions in the video doesn't say GPU Vs. CPU video rendering, it just says, "GPU vs. CPU". Second, realize this is from NVision: nVidia's annual conference. Third, because of the way it is presented it makes it seem like they are trying to say that graphics processors are just plain faster than central processors.
Second, the poster is making a joke. The presentation is not related to computers at all. If you know what "GPU rendering" means, which you must if you think this is "propaganda", I don't see how you can miss that painting with one gun is like rendering with the CPU, and painting with a 1000 nozzles at once is like rendering with the GPU. See now I feel dumb just for explaining it.

But, really. I don't even see how people are amused by that. He yells obscenities and does something cruel and violent over and over. It's predictable after the first time. Hilarious.

I've started doing that as a habit because I've had a few users who refuse drop dupes because of simple idiosyncrasies and I wanted to downvote those videos for that reason. Didn't mean to offend.

Ummm, I think there's still something wrong with VS 3.2 (or else I REALLY don't understand how it works). There are unsifted vids on the front page again. Also, the list is quite short now...

Hey, lucky, I think sifty is sick. He's spitting unsifted videos to the front page. I was going to make a sifttalk about this, but figured it didn't need to be done. Is this a new feature I don't know about that caused 50% of the videos on the front page to shows up with single-digit votes?

Well, good bad or indifferent, you've now got a profile full of comments about your stance on religion. That is one effect to taking a stand on a controversial topic on the sift. Good for you, if more people would we'd either have a much more neutral ground here or debates that are as dumb as the rest of the net. Anyway, good for you all the same. I've wanted to try something like that for a long time but never knew an effective way to do it.
That was my attempt to emulate the usual retarded teen-talk. it seems it worked!

I really appreciate you asking that in such courteous way. Your comment was fine, it was just silly and I guess I was feeling kinda anal at the time. The net is so full of degradation to the English language that it often times annoys me when someone insists on purposely butchering it like your joke required. In retrospect, I probably wouldn't downvote it if I saw it today, but at the time I must have been tired of comments like that particular one.
PS: I didn't know you could even TELL how people voted on comments. Surprised me.
