hey next time the news stations are doing a report on rainbows and cute little gophers prances around I'll be sure to directly send you a link. People around the world will watch this, it brings the start of a story and as it unfolds people around the world will see it happen. Maybe it hits you on some personal level but people will see it and know the five W's. better to get it out then to bury the event because it makes you sad.
Very good point, and well written, but getting the news out there, and wearing a story out until it's THREADBARE, two different things.
I always appreciate Futurama sifts, but sadly, most of the good bits are already here.
Try to post more tags next time, and separate them with more commas. one of your tags was "global warming spoof", and it could have easily been "global,warming,spoof". Without the commas, siftbot treats it as one phrase and has a smaller chance of recognizing dupes when you submit
