yeah that crap bothers me too. Without a drug war cops would be terribly bored. And what the hell is up with the freaking moral lessons cops love to preach when they're arresting some drunk, coked up, slobbering druggy meth-head. People feel bad they got caught, not wether it was right or wrong!
and that "somebody call the prison and tell them to make another bed and start cooking" part really cracked me up :-D Those cops just love their jobs dont they?

it is definitely one of my favorite movies aswell. Donnie is such a fine representative of a whole generation fed up with the same old same old bullshit. He is a heroic outcast, a beautiful deviation from the norm. Reminds me of Kevin Spacey's character from American Beauty.. another fave of mine :-)
