Because I get inexorably linked to people who cut their own throats, then want to come back and play, with nary an apology or any acknowledgment of wrongdoing for their past actions. I didn't get banned for being a douchebag and throwing a fit for being unable to set up another channel; I got banned for my inability to read guidelines on self-linking. Silly and ignorant on my part; I'll be the first to admit it. But I also played by the rules (once I learned them, that is!). Do you think Choggie can do the same? So, really, you all need to ask yourselves are you willing to put up with a tantrum again? That's what it boils down to.
Ultimately, if it comes to it, I can be a martyr for the cause. Hell, it's going to take me another 30 years to make it to 250 anyway. But if and when it's decided, can I at least get to wear a set of those shiny cufflinks to my execution? Everyone else has gotten a pair!

Good stuff. If you take a listen to any of the great themes from science fiction movies of the last 3 decades, you can trace a lot of it back to Holst. Star Trek, Aliens, etc.
the main thing for me is that i do not perceive a creator as being separate from me but rather a part of me,within and also without.

i believe i have read up on pantheism from teihard de chardin,but i could be mistaken.it is not a bad way to be,not bad at all.now i have an urge to look further into it.pretty sure it was fairly common among many native indian tribes.the hopi are one.
many of my students are former christians trying to make sense of scripture.my class helps in at least giving them context on the social climate,economic climate and over-all feel of the time.add to that the remaining 20 gospels and other apocryphal books and the bible takes on a much more human tone.

The internal search is a bit wonky some times, so you can often find things better with google.

For whatever reason, as of late, my spelling has suffered tremendously. I also get completely fucked up using there, their and they're now, interchanging them, as I'm sure my numerous posts will attest. I've also noticed that I'll skip words entirely, as if my brain is thinking to fast for me to type. And I don't know why either. It's almost as if my brain has said, "Well, if his fingers can't keep up, why should I have to slow down?"
...do you by chance play WoW? Cuz I have occasional phases where I do the same exact mistakes and I was becoming somewhat convinced reading the deplorable grammar of that evil time sync was the source.
Though for me instead of They're, Their and There, it's your and you're. And I always catch it the moment I hit enter >.<
