I think he sounded unsure of himself on this one. I didn't find much conviction within his declaration. I have a feeling that his church life decreed that he is to believe this way of thinking. It's something I completely disagree with.

Evolution is one of the fundamental ways of nature in the Universe as we know it. This combined with the forces around us and the vast expanse of Galaxies I would think that evolution and life - for that matter, are abundant, thriving and evolving anywhere that geosystems can exist.
