Looks real. Very strange guitar though. Most double-neck guitars have more space between the necks so you can get your fingers around the "top" neck. This might have been custom made for him, for tapping like this I guess.

I think he's got something soft stuck in there. The reason is, when you tap a string, and then release, the string will keep vibrating and ring out the note of the open string. You generally don't want that to happen when you're just tapping and he's using both hands to tap so he can't muffle with the other hand. other techniques are to wrap a cord or cloth around the neck near the headstock.

That's a guitar face. Go to your local guitar store. Watch someone practice. You'll see all varieties of guitar faces, but they tend to be more ridiculous the more the person is concentrating. It's why all the pretty boy pop/soft rock guys always look so damn pleasant. It's 'cause they suck.
