So, according to dystopianfuturetoday, the movie version of Sweeney Todd "completely miscast the two leads." While the stage version he cited and the movie version are almost completely different, it doesn't mean that one was completely miscast.
I think that both versions are pure excellence and should both be on the sift. If you don't like one of them, at least they're better than Cats.
