Wow, who knew this post could generate such controversy? Well, as Deputy Assistant to the Under-Secretary of the League of Responsible Sifters, I feel honour-bound to research the back-story of these two gentlemen.

It turns out that they are two brothers, born in Detroit and raised in Montréal; the impressionist (stevencrowder.net) in this video is a standup comic while his sidekick (jordancrowderfilms.com) is a young filmmaker.

So yes, based on new evidence, I would have to guess that this is tongue-in-cheek.
